At Honest In Ivory, we believe in making a difference with every gown we sell. Through our "Gowns That Give" initiative, we proudly donate a portion of each sale to women-centric causes within our community.
Our Commitment
We are committed to supporting organizations that empower women and contribute positively to their lives. Each quarter, our team votes on a local cause to support, ensuring that our contributions have a meaningful impact.
Q2: Maddie's Place (April - June 2025)
We’re proud to share that honest in ivory has donated this quarter to Maddie’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit recovery nursery dedicated to caring for infants experiencing withdrawal due to prenatal substance exposure (Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome).
Maddie’s Place provides compassionate, holistic care to these vulnerable babies and wraparound support to their parents and caregivers. Their mission strengthens families, supports recovery, and helps give these little ones a brighter start.
Q1: Women and Children's Free Restaurant (January - March 2025)
We donated $2,700 to the Women & Children’s Free Restaurant & Community Kitchen in Spokane, a nonprofit that provides nutritious, chef-prepared meals and groceries to women and children experiencing food insecurity. Through both in-house dining and their curbside Nutrition-to-Go program, they serve over a million meals annually—offering not just nourishment, but dignity, compassion, and a supportive community. We're honored to stand with them in their mission to uplift and care for local women and families in need.

Q4: Create Your Statement (October - December 2024)
In Q4 2024, we were thrilled to donate $3,250 to Create Your Statement, a Spokane-based nonprofit that empowers young women and teens to build self-worth, recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, and prevent dating abuse. Our donation helps fund their free school-based programs and peer-led workshops that encourage confidence, healthy boundaries, and strong, respectful connections. We’re honored to support their mission of inspiring the next generation of strong, self-assured young women.
Q3: Vanessa Behan Crisis Clinic (July - September 2024)
In Q3 2024, we proudly donated $2,675 to the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, a Spokane-based nonprofit that provides 24/7 emergency care for children whose families are facing crises such as domestic violence, homelessness, illness, or overwhelming stress. While children receive safe shelter, nutritious meals, and compassionate care, parents are offered crisis counseling, parenting education, and connections to vital community resources. We’re honored to support Vanessa Behan’s mission to keep kids safe and strengthen families during their most vulnerable moments.
Q2: Supporting Project Beauty Share (April - June 2024)
In the second quarter, our team voted to support Project Beauty Share. This remarkable organization provides personal hygiene, cosmetics, and beauty products to women and their families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty. By restoring hope and dignity to their lives, Project Beauty Share plays a crucial role in their journey to recovery.
We are proud to announce that we donated $1,880 this quarter! Our sincere gratitude goes out to our Q2 brides whose purchases contributed to this meaningful cause. Your support at our small, local, woman-owned, and operated business has helped bring hope and dignity to many lives.

Q1: Supporting Lumen High School (January - March 2024)
For the first quarter of this year, our team chose to support Lumen High School. This exceptional school, along with its early learning center for students' children, is dedicated to the education and future success of teen parents. Lumen High School focuses on helping these young parents graduate, practice positive parenting, and prepare for a successful future.
We are thrilled to share that we donated $2,347.20 this quarter! We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Q1 brides whose purchases made this donation possible. Your support at our small, local, woman-owned, and operated business has made a significant impact.
