Victoria + Conor
Wedding Date & Location:
June 8th, 2024 at The Historic Davenport in Spokane, WA
For our real bride Victoria, wedding planning was less about sticking to a rigid vision and more about letting the day naturally evolve into something that felt just right. While the goal was always to create a joyful, guest-focused experience, the final celebration beautifully honored both her Vietnamese heritage and her husband Conor’s Filipino roots. With romantic energy, vibrant cultural touches, and a deep sense of love and support from both families, their wedding day became everything they’d hoped for—and more.
What was the vision for your wedding?:
Our specific vision for our wedding changed as we went through the planning process but we knew from the beginning that we wanted our day to be very guest-focused and have Asian touches to honor my Vietnamese and Conor's Filipino background. We loved the fun romantic energy we finally settled on and were glad that we were open to seeing the theme of the day evolve as we planned.
How did it go on the day-of?:
The day-of went amazingly! It was so great to be supported and loved by both sides of our families. There was so much happiness and love shared between everyone and there is nothing that either of us would want to change about the best day of our lives!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?:
Soak it all in, have attention to detail ahead of time, but don't fret about it on the day of, and at the end of the day, if you end up married and the drinks were flowing, the day was a success.
