By our real bride, Shania:
What was the vision for your wedding?
I knew I wanted simple yet beautiful so I went with the classic black and white theme. My venue was out in the woods and covered with twinkle lights so I really wanted to use the natural appearance as some inspiration and decoration. My Pinterest was mostly black and white decorations inspiration. I really loved the white flower with pampas and eucalyptus look so I had tons of pictures pinned with those.
How did it go the day-of?
Of course, my wedding day didn’t go as I had envisioned! The person who was supposed to do my entire set up morning off got sick and was unable to do it so the night before I was scrambling to find people to help out. Luckily I have the best family and friends who stepped in and made my vision come to life! I had also set up all my decorations the week-of and took pictures of each table and area so really they just had to copy what I already had in mind. This was my saving grace! Other than that minor hiccup, my day was absolutely perfect. I know everyone says this but truly I want to relive my wedding day over and over again!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
I know it is easier said than done but you really just got to go with the flow the day of your wedding. Things are not going to go right and that’s okay, you are the only one who truly will know! What I loved most about my wedding is that my husband and I snuck away with our videographer and photographer at sunset to do private vows and get in some couple-pictures! The adventure to our sunset spot was so much fun! It was a time when my husband and I could really focus on one another and take a breather away from everyone! Plus these are my most favorite pictures from our day!
