Every bride embarks on a journey to create the perfect wedding day, a day that encapsulates her vision, her love story, and her unique style. For our real bride Peri, that vision was a tapestry of modernity, simplicity, and timeless elegance. She envisioned a color palette where classic white, sleek black, and opulent gold intertwined, kissed by the soft blush of pale pink. Armed with creativity and determination, she set out to infuse every detail with my personal touch, meticulously crafting DIY decor using the digital magic of Canva and the precision of a Cricut. As she embarked on this quest, Peri already knew many of the incredible vendors that she wanted to involve, thanks to her Spokane roots and the glowing recommendations that had graced her ears for years. And when the moment finally arrived, on a radiant July 15th, all the meticulous planning and creative effort culminated in a day that felt nothing short of perfect. Join us as we get to recount the journey of how Peri’s wedding vision became a breathtaking reality, brimming with love, laughter, and cherished memories, and discover my number one piece of advice for future brides on their own path to wedding day perfection.

By our real bride, Peri:

What was the vision for your wedding?

The vision for my wedding was modern, simple, and elegant. For the colors, I knew I wanted white, black, and gold, with hints of pale pink throughout all of the details. I DIYed a lot of the decor using Canva & Cricut. My exact vision came to life!
I knew most of the vendors I wanted from growing up in Spokane and hearing about all of the amazing people who could help make my day so very special!
Seeing all of my hard work come to life on my wedding day was a very special moment (besides marrying the love of my life)!

How did it go the day-of?

July 15th was the most PERFECT day! In the morning, I had all of my special girls getting ready with me and my husband had all of his favorite men getting ready with him. My husband and I had a first look and did our private vows. It was such a special time between the two of us! Our ceremony was sweet and simple and then we celebrated with an awesome reception! Lots of dancing, pizza, drinks, games, and cake!!!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

My number one tip for all brides is to not let other people’s opinions or comments get to your head. YOU and YOUR HUSBAND pick what YOU want for your special day! There are lots and lots of things to plan and things to think about. Many people around you will have opinions or comments, but you have to do what is best for you! Then at the end of the day when you look back on the day, you know for sure that it was the perfect day for YOU!
