Mira + Levi

Wedding Date & Location:

September 7th, 2024, at a Private Residence in Sandpoint, ID

Mira and Levi envisioned a classy backyard wedding, and what unfolded was something even more breathtaking — a day that felt straight out of a vineyard. With meaningful vendor choices, from local small businesses to the photographer who captured the very wedding where they first met, every detail was layered with connection and intention.

The day itself flowed with ease thanks to their coordinator, allowing Mira and her husband to fully savor each moment. From a dreamy first look and portraits atop the mountain — complete with chairlift photos to honor their love of skiing — to a heartfelt lakeside ceremony and a pizza-filled reception, the celebration was perfectly “them.” A photobooth and endless dancing capped off a night of pure joy and unforgettable memories.

Mira’s advice for future brides is to stay true to your vision but embrace flexibility when things don’t go exactly as planned. Focus on the love you’re celebrating, invest in a videographer if you can, and never forget to show appreciation for the vendors who help bring your day to life.

What was the vision for your wedding?:

Classy, backyard wedding. It ended up looking like a vineyard wedding, and we LOVED it!! My husband and I knew what we wanted, and our dream wedding came to life perfectly. We chose our vendors in a few different ways. We used vendors that this property had used previously, which made directions for setup and photo ops perfect. We are also involved with the community and wanted to use friends with small businesses that we could support with our wedding. Our photographer was actually the photographer for the wedding that we had met at, so that made choosing a photographer easy! Plus, she had shot multiple weddings at the residence, so she knew all the angles! :)

How did it go on the day of?:

We hired a day-of coordinator, and we are so happy we did! Everything went perfectly and kept everything stress-free for the day! Timelines were followed loosely, but not too loosely to where we had to skip things to stay on track. We did a first look on top of the mountain, which gave a gorgeous backdrop for the first look and gift photos. We also love skiing and were able to get some couple portraits on a chair lift on top of the mountain. We then moved down to the main residence to be married by the lake in front of our guests. After the bridal party and family photos, we had the local pizzeria cater dinner, which is our favorite food! Then we partied the night away with our friends and family. We also had a photobooth that helped add to our new stockpile of photographed memories!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?:

Don't be afraid to stick to what you want, but don't think that it's the end of the world if something goes wrong. Being flexible on the day of and just enjoying being married to your new partner is what matters. The day goes by SO FAST!! Also- get a videographer if you are contemplating it.. So worth it!! LAST THING- be nice and show appreciation for your vendors!!! This goes so far and makes your wedding day easier!!!
