Megan + Brendan

Wedding Date & Location:

July 20th, 2024 at Beacon Hill Catering & Events

From the very beginning, this bride had a clear vision: elegant, neutral, and effortlessly chic. After attending plenty of weddings before her own, she knew exactly what she loved—and what she didn’t—which made choosing vendors feel focused and intentional. With Brendan fully on board, every detail came together beautifully. In fact, the day turned out even better than they had imagined.

Their wedding day started early and unfolded under the heat of a summer sun, but everything ran smoothly. Her mom and sisters lovingly created a stunning dessert bar, mega lawn games kept guests entertained, and the celebration felt relaxed and joyful. They opted to skip traditional moments like the garter and bouquet toss, choosing instead to shape the evening around what felt most authentic to them. With no major hiccups (and plenty of preparation just in case), the day felt seamless.

Her biggest piece of advice for future brides? Stay together. She and Brendan made it their mission not to leave each other’s sides all night long. With so many conversations and well-wishers pulling you in different directions, it’s easy to get separated—but they committed to moving through the celebration as a team. Whether it was a quick chat or even a bathroom break, they stuck together, soaking up every moment side by side. And in the end, that simple intention made the night even more meaningful—and so much more fun.

What was the vision for your wedding?:

Elegant, neutral, chic. It ended up just how we wanted it, possibly better! I had known what I wanted for awhile and Brendan was onboard with everything. I had been to so many weddings prior that I had a very narrow list of vendors to check out.

How did it go on the day of?:

The day of went great! It was a very early start, and a very hot day. My mom and sisters made our dessert bar. We rented mega lawn games. There were no huge hiccups, but I was more than prepared in case there were. We chose to skip the garter/bouquet toss.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?:

Brendan and I made a goal to never leave each other’s sides all night. You are pulled in so many different directions that it’s easy to get swept away. So when one of us got pulled into a conversation, the other followed. Bathroom break, we both went. We did a great job of sticking to it and had so much fun.
