Evans, WashingtonWhen Makalen envisioned her wedding day, she wanted something semi-casual but still classy — a soft palette of sage green, gold, and white that felt effortlessly elegant. The result exceeded even her own expectations, coming together more beautifully than she'd imagined.
A Day to Remember
The day was everything Makalen and her husband dreamed of, surrounded by friends and family who helped bring their vision to life from the very first setup detail. From mimosas and laughter with her bridesmaids to marrying her best friend in front of the people who mattered most, every moment felt like a dream. The celebration carried on into the night with dancing, joy, and a reception full of energy — a fitting close to a day she describes as more beautiful and perfect than she could have imagined.
Makalen's Advice for Future Brides
"Do all your detail work, lists, and schedules in advance, but assign a trusted friend, family member, or coordinator to be the 'point person' on the day. That way, you can actually enjoy the moments without feeling like you're managing an event. Soak in every last minute — trust me, it will be one of the best days of your life, and you want to enjoy every bit of it."
