By our real bride, Madison:

What was the vision for your wedding?

A true Western wedding! A casual, fun, laid-back celebration of love. We wanted to honor some traditions, while also incorporating our own twist on some things. I wore cowgirl boots, and my husband and his boys wore starched jeans and cowboy hats.

How did it go the day-of?

Everything went wonderful! We had so much family around to help with all the details. We got married at my family’s ranch, so all the girls got ready in my childhood home. Our ceremony was in a pasture, with our horses in the background. It was “Yellowstone” on steroids, and so “us.” My advice is to do what you and your significant other want, not what your family or friends say you “should d.” It’s your day!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

PLAN AHEAD! The sooner you can plan and book vendors, the less stressed you will be.
