In this blog post, we are sharing the beautiful winter wedding of a lovely couple who tied the knot on February 4, 2023, at Elk Point in Coeur d'Alene for the ceremony and The Eagles downtown CDA for the reception. The bride shares her vision for the wedding, how the day went, and her top tip for future brides. She also lists all the vendors who made their day so special, including their talented photographer Hannah Snider, and their amazing wedding coordinator Faith Bodak. Join us as we relive the special moments from this unforgettable wedding day.

By our real bride, Maddie:

What was the vision for your wedding?

I didn’t have a ton of ideas on what I wanted other than I knew we wanted to get married in the winter and I wanted sleeves! We both wanted it to be clean and simple with a beautiful snowy backdrop. I knew I wanted Hanomoly to do our photos because I loved her vibe and I thought her style would be perfect for our wintery wedding vision. And it was!

How did it go the day-of?

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect! All of the girls got ready together and it was so special and chill, which I loved. I had the best team getting me glammed up! Putting on my dress just made it all so real and perfect for me. The guys all went to a barber shop and got cleaned up for the wedding- that was one of their favorite parts of the day. Our ceremony was very intimate and was definitely my favorite part of the whole day. We had one of our best friends marry us, which was very special and something I am very grateful we did. We didn’t do our own vows, but we wrote letters to each other which we read privately. I highly recommend that because it is less pressure and more romantic!

I loved having a smaller ceremony and having everyone else join later for the party! Less chaos and a little more special for our family and close friends. There is so much going on that it helped us have some time to relax and visit with people before the party.

We had a beautiful getaway car that took us to the reception, and that was SO cool. Nothing would have gone as smoothly without our awesome coordinator Faith. She did so much to make it the best day for us!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

Put your phone away. I had my bridesmaids contact anyone I needed to get a hold of. Way less stress and I was so relaxed all morning. I enjoyed being in the moment and letting the details fall into place however they would fall. Assign someone to get your food for you at the reception! You will never make it to get food if someone doesn’t put it in front of you. The smartest thing we did! Have a private moment planned with your significant other. We had a private first look and we had a getaway car. Two moments before and after to talk and be in the moment. We barely had time for the rest of the night. Lastly, don’t worry about a thing. You spent enough time planning it out. There’s nothing you can do when the day comes other than enjoy yourself and enjoy your people.
