For our real bride Macie, the vision started as “modern and fancy” but evolved into something even more meaningful: a wedding that felt like home. Though she originally imagined saying “I do” on Green Bluff, everything clicked the moment she stepped onto the grounds at Commellini Estates. From trusted friend referrals to a traveling photographer she adored, Macie’s vendor team came together in surprising ways—but delivered the most magical day. With a non-traditional celebration full of joy, dancing, deep conversations, and love, Macie’s wedding wasn’t what she dreamed of as a little girl—it was so much better.

What was the vision for your wedding?:

I had this vision of my wedding being at green bluff and being very modern and fancy. We ended up going with Commellini Estates. When we toured, I fell in love with how it felt to be there. It felt like home. I thought I knew what I wanted for all my vendors but ended up choosing which ones surprised me. We booked a traveling photographer and I absolutely loved how our pictures were. I went with a friend's recommendation for hair and makeup. Alexandra McCabe is AMAZING. We picked our DJ because she’s a friend of the family. It felt random but in the end everything worked together to make the most perfect day.

How did it go on the day-of?:

We had a very non-traditional wedding but it was perfect. I got to spend the morning with my bestest friends who made me feel like a queen. Seriously, they truly kept me calm and feeling good. It went by so fast but I also just wanted to be with my fiancé/husband by the ceremony. It was the happiest day of my life. After the ceremony, we were able to checkin with almost everyone. I know this sounds like a drag but it was the best decision. We could feel the love through every conversation. We danced (like seriously) the night away. It was nothing like how I imagined growing up. It was better. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
