By our real bride, Linnaea:
What was the vision for your wedding?
I wanted simple, classic decor that I could use in the future. I love everything lavender and white, I used those colors for the decor and flowers and added navy for the men. Because I didn't want anything too elaborate I pretty much knew what I wanted to use from the beginning. Other than the venue, I only had a vendor for my cake and dessert. Everything else was done by family and friends.
How did it go the day-of?
I had a first look with my dad and my husband, both of which were so so special to me. I loved that we could have alone time together and it helped ease my nerves so much. Another small touch that I loved was I got corsages for my mother, MIL, and both grandmas that matched my bouquet; they all loved them and it tied everything together nicely.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
I really struggled with delegating tasks during the wedding week. My advice would be to create a list of everything that needs to be done (with enough details for someone who isn’t you to understand) and allow people to help you. Otherwise, it is stressful and you want to enjoy the wedding week without extra stress.
