A Riverside Romance: Mountains, Greenery, and a Whole Lot of Love
There's something extra special about getting married in the exact spot where your love story began. For our real bride Kylie, that place was her family's property along the Naches River — the same land where she got engaged — and it made for a wedding day that felt deeply personal from start to finish.
The Vision
Kylie knew from the beginning that she wanted her wedding to feel romantic, natural, and true to who she and her husband are as a couple. With the mountains as her backdrop, she built her vision around different shades of green paired with elegant gold accents, and an abundance of florals woven through every part of the day, from the ceremony space to the reception tables. Above all, Kylie wanted to keep things simple and intentional so she could actually be present in the moment rather than caught up in the details — which is exactly why bringing on a wedding coordinator was a priority from day one.
The Big Day
Kylie's wedding day lived up to every bit of the vision she'd been dreaming about. The morning started calm and unrushed, with the bridal party getting ready on the property while the guys headed to a nearby cabin. She and her groom shared a first look down the aisle, making for an especially meaningful moment before the ceremony began. Family and wedding party portraits were taken separately beforehand, with the rest of the photos following after the ceremony.
Kylie was walked down the aisle by both of her parents, and the couple was married by a longtime friend — small touches that made the day feel even more personal. One of her favorite memories came at the reception, when she cut the cake alongside her mom and grandma, a moment she says she'll cherish forever. Surrounded by the mountains and the people she loves most, Kylie describes the day as the perfect balance of love, fun, and beauty.
Kylie's #1 Tip for Future Brides
"My biggest piece of advice would be to invest in a videographer. The day truly flies by, and having those moments captured on film is priceless. I love being able to rewatch our video and relive the emotions, laughter, and little details of our dream wedding day — it's something we'll treasure forever."

What was the vision for your wedding?:
From the very beginning, my vision was to create a wedding that felt romantic, natural, and uniquely us. We chose the mountains as our backdrop at my family’s property along the Naches River—a place that was very special to us since it was also where we got engaged. I wanted the day to feel timeless and true to who we are, surrounded by the people we love most. When I started planning, my Pinterest board quickly filled with inspiration drawn from natural tones and thoughtful details. I envisioned different shades of green throughout the décor, accented by gold for elegance. One thing I knew for sure—I wanted an abundance of florals everywhere, from the ceremony space to the reception tables, to bring that classic touch and romantic feel to life. I wanted to keep everything simple and intentional so I could truly enjoy the day, soak in every moment, and not feel overwhelmed or stressed by the details, so it was important to me to get a wedding coordinator.
How did it go on the day-of?:
It was AMAZING!! The day-of could not have been more magical. Everything came together so beautifully—it felt like stepping right into the vision we had imagined for so long. The mountains as our backdrop, and all our loved ones gathered was a moment I’ll never forget. All the girls got ready on the property, and the guys got ready at a cabin down the road. I was able to relax and enjoy the morning, getting ready as my coordinator and vendors finished the final touches. We did the first look down the aisle, which made it such a special moment. We took all our family and wedding party pictures separately before the ceremony, and then took the rest of our pictures together after the ceremony. I had both my parents walk me down the aisle. It was so special to have them both by my side. We were married by a long-time friend. My mom, grandma, and I made our cutting cake together. It will be a memory that I will cherish forever. It truly felt like the perfect balance of love, fun, and beauty, with all our personal touches we chose.
