For our real bride Kayla, the wedding vision was simple: a boho barn setting and a whole lot of fun. With two brides, two bridal parties, and zero concern for sticking to tradition, the day was a joyful, high-energy celebration from start to finish. Their ceremony set the tone with a hilarious and heartwarming procession featuring “sparkle boys” strutting down the aisle to Man! I Feel Like a Woman, followed by a reception that was pure party—complete with an open bar, pizza, glow sticks, and dance floor glasses. Every detail, from the personalized newspaper to the crossword puzzle about the brides, reflected their playful spirit, making it a wedding that was as unique and unforgettable as their love story.
What was the vision for your wedding?:
Boho Barn-loved everything about it- it was perfect. We never really had a vision- we just wanted it to be FUN. Simple decor
How did it go on the day of?:
An untraditional wedding-two brides! Two bridal parties! We knew dancing had to be a MUST! It was literally the most perfect day- we had a beautiful ceremony that included procession with “sparkle boys”-some of our closest guy friends- who walked down to “Man I feel like a Woman”. Following the ceremony, we had THE MOST FUN reception with open bar, beer, and pizza! We included glow sticks and glasses on the dance floor. Had a newspaper that guests could read and a fun crossword puzzle with some fun facts about the brides!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?:
SOAK IN EVERY SINGLE SECOND- it goes by way too fast. Don’t stress the small stuff in the end, it doesn’t matter, just ENJOY the day and spend as much time together as a couple.
