Katherine + Marcus
Wedding Date & Location:
December 7, 2024 in Coeur d'Alene, ID
With a vision described as elegantly festive, this couple set out to embrace the magic of winter while celebrating the start of their forever. They wanted all the warmth, beauty, and romance of a Christmas-season wedding — twinkling lights, cozy joy, and meaningful moments — while keeping the focus on what mattered most: the beginning of their happily ever after.
Though they had hoped for snowfall, the day brought rain instead — which, as they say, is a sign of good luck. And truly, everything unfolded beautifully.
The celebrations began with a Welcome Cruise to see the holiday lights on Lake Coeur d'Alene, setting the tone for a weekend filled with intention and connection. By the time the wedding day arrived, they made it a priority to truly soak it all in — spending cocktail hour mingling with guests before their formal introduction. That intentional time together meant everything to them and became one of their favorite parts of the day.
Like any wedding, there were a few unexpected moments — but those turned out to be some of the sweetest memories. One especially unforgettable detail? A bridesmaid sewing the bride’s veil onto her headband while sitting in the limo outside the church. A small hiccup that became a cherished story.
The entire day felt joyful, meaningful, and filled with love — a perfect blend of festive celebration and heartfelt beginning.
