Wedding Date & Location:

June 20th, 2024 at a Family Residence

When you've worked in the wedding industry and spent four years engaged, you know exactly what matters most on your big day. For our real bride Jessica, that meant crafting a wedding that was completely nontraditional, deeply intentional, and full of personal touches—including a summer solstice morning ceremony, brunch with their closest loved ones, and portraits in breathtaking Glacier National Park. But the moment everything truly fell into place? Finding her dream dress at Honest in Ivory—a dress that fit her vision and just happened to share the same name as her son.

What was the vision for your wedding?:

Very non-traditional, summer solstice, brunch, we had been engaged for 4 years and had a lot of time to figure out what we wanted! I used to work in the wedding industry, so it was easy to make a lot of vendor choices! Finding my dress at honest in ivory made the whole wedding fall into place exactly like I had envisioned! My appointment was so perfect after sitting down and getting the idea of my vibe, my stylist grabbed the dress and said I think this will be perfect, I tried it on and immediately knew overwhelmingly that this was THE DRESS. I had previously bought one and was having second thoughts. I literally didn’t even want to try anything else on because I knew how perfect it was. To top it off, after checking out, she told me the dress was called “Rowan,” which is my son's name 🤍 ; it was fate!

How did it go on the day of?:

It was absolutely perfect, a morning ceremony with our two children involved, followed by a beautifully catered brunch and then photos in Glacier National Park! My best friend and MOH is a baker, and she specializes in weddings. She went the extra mile to prepare an incredible dessert table! Brunch was exactly our style, my husband doesn’t drink, and we both wanted a very intimate experience, with our guest count just at 40! Spending the whole afternoon in the park just the two of us was so special! After we finished in the park, the two of us went out to a fancy dinner in our wedding clothes, and it was a perfect end to a very unique and beautiful day!

What is your #1 tip for future brides?:

Sit down with your partner and each pick three things that are most important to you, spend your money on those things for me it was (the photographer, flowers, and dress) husband was (photographer, food, and playing records) we spent our money on those things and were very happy with the outcome!
