It's always exciting to plan and see your dream wedding come to life. The vision for your big day sets the tone for the atmosphere, and it's essential to get it right. The perfect wedding combines your style and personality with the special moments that make the day unforgettable. However, even with the best planning, there may be unforeseen events on the big day. Nevertheless, as long as you remember what is important, it will be an unforgettable day. In this blog post, we'll hear from a bride whose wedding was traditional with a modern twist, and she shares some great tips for future brides.
Taylor looked absolutely beautiful in our Estelle gown by Essense of Australia. This A-line gown combines a unique lattice pattern with gorgeous bold lace. Beading adds subtle texture throughout the gown. The bodice features a deep sweetheart neckline and dainty pearl straps. A low back and beautiful train complete this look.

What was the vision for your wedding?
We wanted a traditional feel but with a modern twist! Lots of greenery, gold metals, clean lines & geometric shapes!
How did it go the day-of?
Definitely not how we had planned or hoped for but when it was all said and done, I couldn't have pictured our big day any better! Early June in Spokane is IFFY and weather was our biggest concern considering we were outdoors. We battled changing weather reports all week and of course, after our ceremony was over & just as dinner was about to be served, a huge rainstorm rolled right in, and everyone was forced indoors. It passed within an hour and the party didn't skip a beat! (This is when having an open bar comes in handy lol)
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
1. Don't sweat the things that are out of your control! Everyone told me to quit obsessing over the weather report and I swear I only slept a few hours the entire week of our wedding...my iPhone weather app has never been opened so many times! Just roll with the punches and what matters most is at the end of the day, you're married!!
2. When people offer to help, take them up on it! Since my husband works out of town during the week, planning our wedding was my only hobby & focus for 18 months! On the wedding day, I was the only one who knew where things went, who the rentals were, etc because I turned down all help! Don't be like me!
