This blog post discusses a bride's vision for her wedding, which was to have a simple yet classy wedding with lots of greenery for decoration. Due to COVID-19, the couple had to un-book their original venue and opted for a ceremony on top of Mt. Spokane and a reception on the groom's family property. Washington Floral Services provided the greenery and flowers, which were arranged by the groom's aunt. With a smaller guest list of 30 people, the ceremony was intimate and special, and the bride's #1 tip for future brides is to have a small wedding if that is what they truly want.
Kelsey looked absolutely stunning in our Alexa gown by Willowby. This gown is a gorgeous A-line fit with a stunning titanium-colored liner with soft layers of tulle over the top of it. The skirt has gorgeous dahlia motifs with sequin details scattered throughout for a little bit of sparkle. The bodice is a gorgeous deep-v plunge with a stunning double waistband made of delicate velvet ribbon. The ribbon ties into a dainty bow in the back and the baby train completes this boho, whimsical gown.

What was the vision for your wedding?
I knew I wanted to have a simple, yet classy wedding. Initially, we had a venue booked, but because COVID hit we chose to un-book it and start over. Our ceremony was on top of Mt. Spokane and the reception was on my in-laws property. The one thing I really wanted for our wedding was to have tons of greenery to use for decor. We chose our greenery and flowers from Washington Floral Services, and my husbands aunt ended up arranging them for us! It all looked SO beautiful.
How did it go the day-of?
Because of COVID, we went from about 100 guests to 30. I wanted a small wedding to begin with, so I was actually very okay with this. Almost all of the planning happened at the last minute since we were waiting to hear about any changes regarding the number of people allowed at gatherings. Our ceremony was so special and intimate, it was a dream!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
If you want a small wedding, DO a small wedding! The day was so intimate and special with a small group of our close family and friends.
