The blog post details the author's experience planning and executing their outdoor rustic fall wedding. The author describes their vendor selection process, emphasizing the importance of meeting vendors in person. On the day of the wedding, the author woke up feeling excited and took a walk through the venue before meeting with their bridal party. The couple read letters they had written to each other before their first look, which was a special moment for them. The ceremony was short and sweet, and the reception was full of fun activities, including yard games, a photo booth, and snacks. The author's #1 tip for future brides is to relax and enjoy the day, allowing themselves to be a bride rather than a planner. They suggest hiring a planner or surrounding oneself with supportive people who can take care of any issues that arise.
Jaz looked absolutely stunning in our Heather gown by Essense of Australia. The sheer bodice features a sweetheart neckline with a plunge and gorgeous beaded floral appliques. The appliques trickle down into the skirt for a soft and romantic feel. This ballgown is a beautiful moscato color which allows the appliques to stand out. Buttons down the back flow directly into a dramatic train with multiple layers of tulle and chiffon for the perfect fairytale wedding look.

What was the vision for your wedding?
My wedding Pinterest board had years of ideas that I had to narrow down. But I always knew I wanted an outdoor rustic fall wedding and that is exactly what I planned! My vendor choices were based on a lot of research, reviews, and meet-ups. I found it super important to meet vendors face to face to make sure you are a good fit to work together.
How did it go the day-of?
The morning of we woke up together and said our goodbyes for the day as Justin headed out to golf with the groomsmen. This was two hours before I needed to be up so I went out for a walk through the venue. I was filled with excitement and some disbelief that today was THE day! I met the gals in the bridal suite where I gave them each a gift bag full of nonwedding-related items. These were so fun to pack and they loved it! We had screwdrivers, and purple penguins and got pampered by the hair and makeup gals! My in-laws were hard at work making the venue look like a dream and setting up the final touches. Justin and I had written letters to each other that we wanted to read together before the ceremony instead of during. Our incredible videographer suggested we read them out loud so he could incorporate it into our video. So we did before the first look and I cannot explain how special this was!
After that, we took all the photos you could imagine which was a freakin blast with our wedding party and families. As the ceremony time approached I got a bit misty-eyed when I met my dad for our walk down the aisle. We laughed as he pulled my veil out of my hair as my song started and delayed our entrance... sorry for the heart attack Justin! Lol. I dont know if I can put into words all my feelings at that moment. Seeing my future husband at the altar, walking with my dad and all our loved ones surrounding us... just wow. We had a short but sweet ceremony ending with the most amazing kiss and it was time to party! There were yard games, a photo booth, snacks, and even a chance to win some cash for the guests! Our DJ and bartender were absolute hits and kept the party going! Everyone danced until we couldnt any longer and most of the guests had left. After changing into our comfies, we enjoyed some leftover pizza from dinner to end the night! It was a dream! 13/10 recommend marrying your best friend! #asinnisforever
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
Try to relax and enjoy your day! Allow yourself to let go of being the planner and embrace being the BRIDE. Live it up and take it all in because it goes by quickly! I highly suggest a planner or surrounding yourself with people who will take care of anything that comes up that day. We had a couple of bumps and I had no idea until after because of my amazing in-laws and wedding party.
