In this blog post, the author shares her vision for her wedding which was classic and elegant with a touch of country, focusing on florals instead of decorations. She chose her vendors through word of mouth and loved how they all worked together to make her day memorable. Everything ran smoothly thanks to her day-of coordinator and all the special touches she wanted were displayed with no hesitation. The author advises future brides to hire a day of coordinator to take the stress off the family and allow them to enjoy the day.
Our real bride Hannah was absolutely gorgeous in our Natalie gown by Alyssa Kristin. Made out of the highest quality crepe, this gown is a stunning sheath fit. It has a beautiful square neckline, dainty straps, and stunning side cutouts that accentuate the waist. A low back and long train complete this gorgeous clean and simple gown.

What was the vision for your wedding?
My Pinterest board honestly didnt have much! I knew that I wanted something classic and elegant with a touch of country. I dont like clutter so I focused on florals instead of decorations. I chose my vendors through word of mouth which worked well since the wedding industry is big but also small. Everyone loves working with specific people and everyone is so supportive of other vendors! I loved my vendors and they truly pulled everything together beautifully!
How did it go the day-of?
Everything about my day was a dream and to this day I wouldnt change anything. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Kami, my day of coordinator. The special touches that I really wanted to be out of were out and displayed with no hesitation. The food was great, everyone still talks about it. The design by Sara at Patina was a dream come true. All my vendors worked their magic to make my day memorable. Annie designed a beautiful wedding poster for us that was an old Western love poster. The truck owned by my grandpa that is pictured in our photos was at my parents wedding 20+ years ago. Our wedding parties and guests were our closest friends and family which made it so special and so close-knit! We stuck to the traditional wedding but with a twist! If you feel you dont want to do something traditional on your wedding day, dont! Its completely up to you.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
Hire the day of coordinator, you want your mom with you while youre getting ready. You dont want her dressing tables and setting up. This takes so much stress off the family and adds so much enjoyment! This was one of the last things I added to my wedding and it should have been the first!
