Our real bride Gracie looked absolutely gorgeous in our Becca gown by Blush by Hayley Paige. This is a stunning ballgown covered in sugar rose caviar that has a little bit of sparkle. Dainty straps and a sweetheart neckline complete this beautiful gown. And did we mention it has a cashmere lining?!
By our real bride, Gracie:
What was the vision for your wedding?
My Pinterest board was all over the place. I never really had a clear vision or style of wedding in my head. I just knew I wanted a pretty dress, beautiful flowers, a fun dance floor, and all of our friends and family to be there. Other than that, I really had no clue what I wanted. I chose vendors based on price range or through friends' recommendations.
How did it go the day-of?
Our wedding day is, and probably always will be my favorite day. We got married mid-May and somehow lucked out with one of the only warm sunny days of the month. I am originally from Juneau, Alaska where most of my family and relatives still live. I can't begin to describe how loved we felt knowing they all flew all the way to Coeur d'Alene just to celebrate our marriage. I think that is what made the day so special to me. Knowing we had so many amazing people who traveled from all over to show their support and love for us.
We had our ceremony outside overlooking the lake with the reception inside the event center shortly after. Our ceremony was fairly traditional but we decided to have a moment just to ourselves before the ceremony to share our own personal vows. I loved being able to have that time just between the two of us. It felt so special and honestly helped so much with the pre-ceremony nerves.
The entire day seemed to go off without a hitch. We loved being able to dance the night away with all of our people in one of our favorite places.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
Don't sweat the small stuff! I remember the week of being so stressed about the tiniest most insignificant details, and at the end of the day, literally, none of them mattered. Have fun and enjoy that special day because it goes by so dang fast!
