(July 25, 2020 at Palouse Knot Barn)
The vision for this bride's wedding was boho style, and the wedding was held at the Palouse Knot Barn, which is a lovely venue that she owns. Despite the challenges of planning a wedding during the pandemic, the day was perfect, thanks to a great team of vendors who helped bring the bride's dreams to life. The bride's #1 tip for future brides is to slow down and take in the day, as it goes by in a blink. She advises taking some alone time with your spouse to appreciate the day and realize how blessed you are.
Our real bride Emma looked like a dream in our Lucy gown by LAmour. This gown is a stunning sheath fit and features a bold sheet lace in a fun boho-inspired pattern. It has sequin throughout that creates the perfect subtle sparkle. This dress has a plunging v-neckline with an illusion, dainty straps, a beautiful open back, and a lovely train.
By our real bride, Emma:
What was the vision for your wedding?
I wanted the day to show off my boho style. All of the colors we chose went together seamlessly and it was the most incredible day! I own Palouse Knot Barn, the barn wedding venue, and have been able to work with some incredible vendors over the past few years so I knew when I got engaged who I would want a part of our big day.
How did it go the day-of?
After dating for 7 and 1/2 years (high school sweethearts) we finally decided it was time to tie the knot- and it just so happens that we had a venue in mind already for our special day. A few years ago, my mom and I opened our venue, Palouse Knot Barn, and with each passing wedding, I couldn't help but envision our future wedding there. On July 25, we finally got to say "I Do" and it couldn't have been a more perfect day or a more perfect setting.
Decorating and planning are just a few of my favorite things so I had the best time picking out our day of details. I had the best team of vendors that I would recommend over and over again. They brought all of our dreams to life and made our day so special.
Even though COVID put a dent in our year, I'll always remember this year as one of my all-time favorites. I got to marry my best friend!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
I think my biggest tip is to slow down. One of my favorite parts of the day was getting away with our photographer for 20 minutes for a sunset shoot and just having some alone time with my husband. I really think it helped us to really take in the day and realize how blessed we are. The day goes by in a blink, but moments like these will last with you forever!
