Todays blog post describes a bride's vision for her wedding and how it turned out on the day of the ceremony. She had always dreamt of a small family-only beach wedding, and it turned out exactly as she had planned. The bride chose her vendors based on the best reviews online, and her flowers were gifted to her by her now sister-in-law from a local vendor. The day of the wedding started with rain, but the sun eventually came out, and the bride and groom had an amazing ceremony based on family and Christ. After the ceremony, they went for a sunset cliff hike for their video and pictures, and it was the most magical and special day of their lives. The bride's number one tip for future brides is to take a breath and not let the stress consume them.
Emily was absolutely stunning in our Lenny gown by LAmour. This ballgown features a beautiful tiered handkerchief skirt with a stunning cascading train. The bodice has a chic boat neckline with gorgeous lace appliques. An unlined bodice helps accentuate the waistline while a gorgeous low back and dainty straps complete this gorgeous ballgown.

What was the vision for your wedding?
It looked exactly like my Pinterest dreams were. I always dreamt of a small family-only beach wedding!! I was gifted my flowers from my now sister-in-law from a local vendor in Bonners Ferry, Idaho where we all live. I chose my videographer and photographer off on the best reviews online since I dont live in Oregon and didnt know the locals.
How did it go the day-of?
The day of I woke up to beautiful rain sitting on my sisters porch drinking coffee. My heart was full of butterflies and only joy. I went to Portland and got my hair done by the top stylist in the city! We drove 2 hrs in different cars with my family and his to the beach. The sun came out and not a breeze of wind blew, it was a miracle on the Oregon coast! We met with our photographer and videographer while my family started decorating our wedding cabin! All the men set up the chairs and flowers on the beach while we girls finished getting ready in our cabin. I called to let them know we were coming down the beach so Dawson would look at the ocean and not see me until I walked our sandy aisle. I met with my dad while everyone sat down, my sister started playing her acoustic guitar and he turned, we locked eyes and nothing but tears of joy filled them. We had an amazing ceremony based on family and Christ. We finished the ceremony and did all the family pictures! After that Dawson and I kicked off our shoes and headed off for our sunset cliff hike all over the coast for our video and pictures. We had a blast and loved every second of it. There was lots of love and heavy breathing as we adventured all over! By the end my dress felt like 40lbs of all sand and the sun was setting so we made our way back to the cabin with our families. We ate cake, drank champagne, took Polaroids, and enjoyed the sweetest of speeches. We sent off the night with laughs and sparklers. Truly the most magical, special, and momentous day of our lives!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
Dont let the stress consume you, take a breath, set aside even 20 minutes for yourself, and let the joy of the morning soak in. Itll set peace in your heart for whatever comes your way!
