Our real bride Danielle was a VISION in our Dedra gown by Martina Liana. This stunning ballgown has a handkerchief-style skirt with horsehair trim for added volume. The sheer bodice is covered with beaded floral lace appliques that then cascade down into the skirt. A low v-back mirrors the shape of the front of the bodice and accentuates the waistline. This gown is the perfect mix of whimsy and elegance.

What was the vision for your wedding?
My Pinterest board was all over the place! I had everything from big ballrooms, to church weddings, to Industrial warehouses. What ended up putting me on the right path to plan my wedding was selecting my venue. I went to look at all different styles and when I walked into Stillwell House, I just knew it was our place. It has a beautiful courtyard, a traditional Mexican cantina, and a warm elegant historic house. All my decorations were ivory with splashes of gold. And my flowers added the color to our day - burgundy, blue, rose, white! I chose my vendors by researching on Instragram and The Knot.
How did it go the day-of?
It was absolutely perfect! We kept the tradition of waiting to see each other until I walked down the aisle. My stomach was in knots up until I got into my dress! As it was my time to walk to my future husband, I walked outside and saw a huge ominous rain cloud. Our ceremony was outside so I felt my heart drop. There was nothing we could do but hope the rain held off until the end of the ceremony. It was showtime, my veil was flying around because of the wind, there was a chance my guests were going to get rained on and as the gates open for me to walk to my honey, everything was still. I was calm, I felt peace, and I knew that everything was going to be okay! We got through the ceremony with no rain and exited the courtyard to bubbles that were aimed at us by our guests! I didnt imagine how beautiful and fun those bubbles would make our exit.
Once our guests were escorted to cocktail hour the rain arrived! Everyone was safely inside and we got through our pictures. Then we transitioned to the historic house for dinner and speeches, followed by dancing!
What made our wedding different was we brought everyone that is important to us together for the first time ever! Randy and I met in Washington so we had our friends there no one had met since I am from Arizona and he is from California. Due to COVID, our families had never met. Seeing them all come together that day, seeing all the smiles as we celebrated our love and danced the night away was the best and most special feeling.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?:
My best tip is do not forget that this day is yours and your future husbands. Everyone will have an opinion, so remind yourself to ground yourself and breathe. Remember your values, keep your relationship at the center and do not sacrifice what you want!
