Our real bride Alyssa looked stunning in our Hannah gown by Essense of Australia. This gown is an A-line silhouette and has a gorgeous chiffon skirt with a tulle layer overtop that flows into a lovely train. The bodice is slightly sheer and features gorgeous floral lace appliques throughout that extend into the sleeves as well as into the skirt of this dress. A plunging v-neckline adds a modern element to the beautifully vintage feel of this gown.

What was the vision for your wedding?
I wanted a dreamy, woodsy feel to our wedding. Our color scheme was dusty blue, notes of greenery and whites/creams, with wood accents throughout. We held our wedding at Kyle's parents' house which is a lovely property surrounded by thick woods, which made for the perfect backdrop for photos.
How did it go the day-of?
The day of was amazing. It rained the morning of our wedding, which was worrisome as our wedding was completely outdoors, but it stopped long before the ceremony and the weather was beautiful! Getting married in mid-June was lovely as it was sunny and 75 all afternoon. Something that made our wedding incredibly special was having it at Kyle's parents' house; now every time we come over we get to relive our favorite memories from that day. Our friends and family were amazing at helping out and making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We didn't hire a wedding coordinator and didn't have a venue coordinator since we got married at a private residence, so we relied heavily on our loved ones' help and we could not be more thankful for them. The ceremony was short and sweet, as we wanted it. My younger brother walked me down the aisle, while my older brother and Kyle's sister were in our wedding party, followed by their respective daughters as our flower girls. Our family friend married us and offered sweet anecdotes and words of advice for our future. After cocktail hour (yard games included), a great dinner, heartfelt toasts, and delicious cake courtesy of my aunt, the party started and we danced the night away with our friends and family. We ended the evening with a dried lavender send off and so far are living happily ever after.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
I think the one thing that kept us sane on our wedding day was knowing that no matter what happened, we were going to be married at the end of the day. It didn't matter if a vendor didn't show up, if the weather was bad, or if the cake fell, nothing was going to prevent us from getting married. Luckily, nothing like this happened at our wedding, but letting go of all the worry and stress about having the "perfect wedding day" allowed us to just enjoy the day as it came.
