When Hannah started planning her wedding, she knew exactly what she wanted: an unforgettable party surrounded by the people she loves most. With a "Til' Death Do Us Party" theme, moody black invitations dressed up with gold foil, and a wildflower bouquet that stole the show, every detail was a true reflection of her and David's personalities. Being deeply connected to the local event community, many of their vendors were close friends — making the day feel even more personal.
A Wedding Weekend to Remember
Rather than a single-day affair, Hannah and David turned their wedding into an entire weekend experience. They rented a spacious Airbnb for the whole wedding party, where they cooked meals together and soaked up quality time with parents and friends before the big day.The morning of the ceremony, they shared a first look and private vows right at the house by the lake — an intimate moment just for the two of them before the celebration began.From there, things took a wonderfully unconventional turn: the entire wedding party climbed onto side-by-sides, all dressed up, and headed up the mountain. It was dusty (one group even got pulled over for a rental vehicle without plates!), so at the top, they broke out a blower to dust off their wedding attire before taking in breathtaking views and enjoying a mountainside picnic. The celebration continued at a waterfall, where Hannah and David exchanged their vows surrounded by nature.Of course, no wedding day is without its small surprises — David left his suit jacket back at the house, and the steak knives never made it onto the order list — but neither hiccup could take away from a day Hannah says she wouldn't change a single thing about.
Hannah's Advice for Future Brides
"It is you and your husband's day. In the end, you guys should have the final say in decisions being made. Don't worry about your guests. Make sure that every decision is based off of what you guys will enjoy and be happy looking back on."

What was the vision for your wedding?:
The most fun party and gathering with all of our friends and family. It had to be a perfect reflection of our personalities. We had a Til' Death Do Us Party Theme. Our invites and such were all black with gold foil accents. I had the most gorgeous "wildflower" bouquet. Most of our vendors were friends of ours. We are lucky to have a lot of connections in the event community.
How did it go on the day-of?:
It went so perfect. I wouldn't have changed a thing. David did forget his suit jacket back at the house and we didn't go back for it lol. The photos still turned out great! Oh and I forgot to order steak knives for dinner. Whoops! I loved how non traditional our wedding was. We rented a huge airbnb for the entire wedding party and really got to enjoy spending time with them and parents prior to the ceremony. We cooked all the meals there ourselves and that just added to how personal and enjoyable that quality time was. We did a first look and our private vows at that house by the lake. Then we went up the mountain on side-by-sides all dolled up in our wedding attire. It was dusty, one of the groups got pulled over (no license plate or registration - it was a rental). At one point we took a blower to all of us in our outfits to get the dust off when we got there. Everyone got to see some incredible views, we had a picnic, then ventured to a waterfall where we held the actual ceremony. Everything was stunning and so memorable!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?:
It is you and your husbands day. In the end you guys should have the final say in decisions being made. Don't worry about your guests that are attending. Make sure that every decision is based off of what you guys will enjoy and be happy looking back on.
