Welcome back to the Ivory Bride Blog where we share stories about our real brides and their gorgeous weddings! In today's post, we’re excited to share the beautiful wedding of our real bride, Gracie, who perfectly captured an elegant and timeless vibe for her special day. With a vision centered on simplicity, Gracie's wedding featured stunning dark wooden tables and chairs that became the focal point of her décor. Complemented by lush white roses and greenery, her day exuded effortless elegance. Adding to the magic, Gracie and Jacob celebrated their 10-year anniversary by sharing a heartwarming announcement with their guests: they’re expecting! It was a day filled with love, joy, and the start of an even more beautiful chapter in their lives.

By our real bride, Gracie:

What was the vision for your wedding?

Elegant & white. I knew what I wanted my dream wedding to look like, it was just a matter of turning the vision into reality. I had to find the perfect venue and then the rentals to fill the venue. Setting my eyes on the gorgeous dark wooden table and chair options I quickly realized that was going to be my statement piece and said out with the extra detail rentals to create my simple yet elegant vibe. All that was left was the white aspect. Of course, I had to fill that in with the flowers, having almost all of my wedding flowers white roses with greenery.

How did it go the day-of?

Getting married on our 10-year anniversary was something special. But getting to announce to our closest family members that we are expecting was just the cherry on top. Jacob and I have been planning this day for the past 2 years. Just on the day that everyone is most emotional we wanted to add a little extra flavor. So here it is, bump and all. Our deepest love, taking roots even deeper into our journey that started a decade ago. “I would recognize you in total darkness, we’re you mute and I deaf. I would recognize you in another lifetime entirely, in different bodies, at different times. And I would love you in all of this until the very last star in the sky burnt out into oblivion ~Achilles”
