The weekend of events for their guests made it a fun-filled time for everyone, and they were able to enjoy an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family. The bride also shares her number one tip for future brides to help them enjoy their special day to the fullest. By our real bride, Gabi:
What was the vision for your wedding?
The vision for our wedding was whimsical, elegant, and unique! We are huge nature lovers so we wanted an outdoor venue that would be beautiful and timeless and one that would create a fun atmosphere for the reception. We had a pizza food truck and a cute bar trailer as well as a live band which made the evening so fun for us and our people! We also had a fun-fetti cake because it's our favorite :)
Our ultimate vision was to have a fun weekend with our people (it was a destination wedding for both sides), so we made it a weekend of events for everyone to attend which made it so fun and easy to connect with everyone who had traveled in!
How did it go the day-of?
Our wedding day was truly the perfect day! It was so special to have an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. My favorite moments were the first looks with both my dad and husband and exchanging our vows that we wrote together in front of our people. I couldn't have imagined a more special and beautiful day!
I had a vision of the wedding dress I wanted and was able to work with an amazing seamstress to customize my Honest and Ivory gown to make it the gown of my dreams!
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
My #1 tip is ENJOY the day! I recommend assigning people/family tasks for the day-of and communicating those beforehand, that way on the big day you can focus on hanging out with your bridesmaids and getting ready to marry the love of your life! I also recommend creating a detailed list of who is responsible for what and what your vision is for decor/anything that needs to be set up. Taking out the guesswork just makes for a smooth day for everyone!
