Welcome back to the Ivory Bride Blog, where we share stories about our real brides and their gorgeous weddings! In today's post, our real bride's vision for her wedding was a timeless, elegant, and fall-inspired celebration that perfectly reflected her love and life with her new husband. From the peaceful surroundings of Priest Lake during their breathtaking first look to a ceremony at a family friend's beautiful property, every detail came to life just as they had dreamed. Surrounded by friends, family, and their young daughter, this day was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. From personalized touches like their signature huckleberry daiquiri to a fun-filled celebration that continued into the night, this wedding was an absolute dream. The day may have gone by quickly, but it was everything they had hoped for and more, and they've left with memories to cherish forever.

By our real bride, Faythe:

What was the vision for your wedding?

My vision was very similar to my Pinterest board and it helped everything come to life. We went for more of a timeless, elegant, and of course fall wedding. My vision really came to life with the realistic changes of seasons and the beautiful fall colors that surrounded us the entire day!

How did it go the day-of?

My wedding went exactly how I imagined it would. It was PERFECT!! There wasn’t anything that I would’ve changed or had done differently. It was exactly what me and my husband have always wanted. The day started out in a perfect Air BNB that myself and my bridesmaids stayed in. My fiancé and his groomsmen were all just right around the corner in an Air BNB also. There’s nothing better than waking up with the people who matter most to you on such a social day. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day. My hair stylist and makeup artists arrived as early as 6:00 am. Once they arrived it was go time and I feel like once my hair and makeup got done everything else went by so fast. I got to meet my now husband at the beautiful docks of Grandview, for our first look. I remember the moment I was walking towards my husband just looking around my surroundings with tears in my eyes just in absolute awe of how perfect this moment was. The water of Priest Lake was pure glass not a sign of movement just quietness and peacefulness. My first look may have been my favorite moment of the day by far. Once we got done with our first look we then traveled to our venue which was on our amazing family friend's beautiful property. We were and still are forever thankful for them giving us the privilege of becoming Mr. & Mrs on their property. The most amazing part about us showing up is I had a vision and our village had all seen and knew over the past months what myself and fiancé had in mind. So when we showed up it was so amazing to see it all come to life. Was like a “surprise” to us since we weren’t near the venue while getting it all set up. Things continued to move so fast. During our ceremony, we had asked our officiant to have us turn around and begin our marriage by looking at all our friends and family who were there to support us, encourage us, and love both of us dearly, and at the end, they all agreed to do so with an “I will”. That moment was just a brief realization of how much love and support surrounded us. We also had the privilege of having our beautiful little daughter in our wedding and I will forever look back and share stories and remind her how perfect our day was. She was a show stopper for sure with a big smile on her face. The night continued with a party and our guest did not disappoint. We had amazing food and drinks. We had a signature toast drink which was a huckleberry daiquiri, because Priest Lake's signature is a good huckleberry daiquiri and they were delicious. From 6 am to 10:00 pm, everything was awesome and exactly what I had imagined. It was filled with laughter, music, dance moves, and love. We ended our night with a small group of us at Nordman Bar. My goal was to go all dressed up in my gown in a bar/restaurant I had grown up going to, which had been the same with my husband and it was an awesome way to end our night. Everything was perfect and I didn’t want the night to end!

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

Take every moment it goes by way to fast and allow helping hands that want to help. I’m forever grateful with the village of people we had by our side willing to help from the start to the end. I also would highly recommend getting an audio guest book. There’s something so special about hearing peoples voices and it’s something we can forever have and listen to!
