Erin + Wyatt

Wedding Date & Location:

September 30th, 2023, at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie in Deer Park, WA

For our real bride Erin, the goal was a wedding that felt unmistakably them—a day filled with their favorite things and a perfect blend of country charm and city vibes. With a naturally beautiful venue, thoughtful personal touches, and a dress that let her feel completely comfortable from start to finish, Erin brought her vision to life with ease and intention. From a donkey’s well-timed bray during the ceremony to fiber optic wands lighting up the dance floor, the day was full of unforgettable moments, meaningful details, and genuine joy.

What was the vision for your wedding?:

We wanted to walk away from our wedding feeling like it was a day of all our favorite things and reflected us as a couple. We enjoy both being in the country and the city, so our venue was out in the country, and then we ended the night at our downtown hotel's bar - it was a great balance! We also chose a venue that was naturally beautiful, and enjoyed adding some unique decor and details to make it our own. I originally had a different dress style in mind than I ended up choosing. What's comfortable is different for everyone, and I wanted to wear my dress the entire day, so I chose a style that let me do that.

How did it go on the day of?:

We started the day getting ready at our downtown hotel, picked up Jimmy John's sandwiches for lunch on the way to the venue, and then finished getting ready there. Our vendors were all amazing, and we're grateful to so many friends and family who helped set up and decorate! The ceremony was beautiful, and ended with a donkey braying in a nearby pasture, which we all enjoyed. For the first dances, we invited all fathers/daughters and mothers/sons to the dance floor, and really enjoyed sharing these moments with everyone. Our fiber optic wands and foam glow sticks for the dance floor were a hit, and we love the photos of all our friends and family dancing together with them.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?:

When you're making decisions, pick the things you like (within budget). You'll be most happy looking and feeling like yourself on your wedding day.
