Erin Letter + Jared

For our real bride Erin, there was something undeniably magical about saying “I do” on New Year’s Eve—especially in the heart of Scotland. On December 31, 2024, she and her husband celebrated their love surrounded by candlelight, greenery, and the kind of cozy winter atmosphere that feels straight out of a dream. From the beginning, Erin’s vision was clear: a warm winter wedding that blended the festive charm of Christmas with the rich, natural beauty of Scotland. She wanted the day to feel intimate and glowy, with soft candlelight, lush greenery, and that unmistakable New Year’s Eve warmth woven throughout. Thanks to an incredible team of vendors—and a venue that fully embraced collaboration—every detail came together seamlessly. The space itself, filled with candles and greenery, created an effortlessly romantic setting that needed little more than the love shared within it.When the wedding day arrived, Erin was able to fully step into the moment. With a venue team that handled every detail behind the scenes, she didn’t have to worry about timelines or logistics—just being present. And while there are always little unknowns that come with any wedding day, having vendors she trusted made everything feel calm, smooth, and completely manageable. One of the most special elements of the day was their traditional Scottish ceremony—a meaningful and memorable experience that added depth, culture, and a sense of place to their celebration. It not only made the ceremony feel even more unique, but also resulted in some truly stunning, once-in-a-lifetime moments captured forever.Looking back, Erin describes the day simply: perfect. A celebration filled with warmth, intention, and the kind of atmosphere that made every moment feel a little extra special. Her advice to future brides? Find joy in the planning process. Instead of letting it become overwhelming, she and her husband turned wedding planning into something to look forward to—ordering takeout, sharing dessert, or opening a bottle of Prosecco while working through their to-do list together. It transformed what can often feel stressful into meaningful time spent side by side.Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about the wedding—it’s about the life you’re building together along the way. ✨

Wedding Date & Location:

What was the vision for your wedding?:

Our vision was to create a warm winter vibe. I wanted to incorporate a feel of Christmas while also giving the lush green of Scotland and the warm light of New Years Eve. Because our vendors, especially our amazing venue, were so incredible and collaborative we were able to have that perfect look. The venue has candles and greenery everywhere.

How did it go on the day-of?:

The day was perfect. The staff of the venue made sure that by the time my wedding day rolled around my responsibilities were over and they took care of the timing, any issues that arose they handled. There are aspects of the day which you can’t plan for but if you select your vendors carefully, those unknowns don’t seem as daunting. We ended up having a traditional Scottish ceremony which was so fun to participate in and resulted in some beautiful pictures.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?:

Have fun wedding planning. Wedding planning is exhausting and stressful but my husband and I would make nights out of it where we’d order in take out or buy cake slices to try together, or even just open a nice bottle of Prosecco and work our way through our task list. It made the stressful part of wedding planning something to look forward to.
