Emma + William
Wedding Date & Location:
June 22, 2024, in Davenport, WA
For our real bride Emma, the perfect wedding didn’t mean following tradition—it meant crafting a day that truly reflected who she and her husband are. With a Western boho vibe, CRUMBL cookies in place of cake, cowhide rugs, disco balls, and no bouquet or garter toss in sight, Emma embraced a wedding that felt authentic. From emotional first looks to private vows and a quiet dinner just the two of them, the day was intimate, stress-free, and wildly fun. Letting go of expectations and planning a wedding that felt true to them made all the difference—and gave them a day they’ll never forget.
What was the vision for your wedding?:
Western boho
How did it go on the day-of?:
This was the most perfect day! From the first look with both my father and father in-law, to the first look with my husband. Private vows, a perfect ceremony lasting all of 15 minutes. My husband and I shared a private dinner to re-group, and take in the day. We had CRUMBL cookies instead of cake, disco balls, and cowhide rugs. We skipped on the cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, opting instead to dance the night away with our friends and loved ones. We are private people so some of these wedding traditions just weren’t for us. Instead we planned the wedding the way we wanted. Taking away so much stress and expectations of others.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?:
Honestly, checking your expectations. Things go wrong, and that’s okay!! Do not spend your weddings day over stressed. Have good people around you that know your vision, and let them handle it!
