The natural beauty of her venue set the tone for a day that was perfectly balanced between simplicity and style. Despite the whirlwind of activity, everything came together flawlessly—including perfect October weather! Her celebration was a mix of tradition and personal touches, making it uniquely hers.

What was the vision for your wedding?
Rustic but make it chic. I didn't really have a set vision while planning, I kind of just let the pieces fall into place and built on as we got closer such as with venue/floral/color scheme, etc. I chose vendors based on reviews and work I had done with them in the past such as my photographer and make-up artist!
How did it go the day-of?
I felt like the day-of was pure chaos LOL but I wouldn't have had it any differently. I woke up and the weather was absolutely perfect (70 degrees the second week of October) - like who gets that?! My venue was absolutely stunning in the most natural way. We tried to incorporate as much of the natural beauty that it offered without additions. I felt like for the homestead, less was more and it truly was! I wouldn't say our day was super non-traditional but it wasn't 100% traditional.
What is your #1 tip to future brides?
My biggest tip is to stay ahead of planning and do what you want to do not what other people tell you to do. Definitely top 3 priorities are venue, hair/makeup, and photographer.
