There's something so special about a bride who knows exactly what she wants — and Danielle did just that! From a timeless black and white color palette to a touching tribute to her grandmother, her wedding day was full of heart, beauty, and a little bit of Mother Nature's unpredictability. Read on for all the details from her big day!

The Vision

Danielle knew from the start that she wanted her wedding to feel timeless. She built her day around a classic black and white palette layered with lush florals, and added a deeply personal touch by using a special set of china at the head table — a gift from one of her grandmothers.

How the Day Unfolded

"FAST! But it went well," Danielle shared. Her outdoor celebration took place at the gorgeous Spiral Rock Events, and while rain was in the forecast, the weather had other plans — bringing wind and a chill instead. Of course, things didn't go exactly as planned, but as Danielle put it, it was still perfect. And that wind? It made for some seriously stunning photos.

Danielle's #1 Tip for Future Brides

"Slow down. Take it all in. If it doesn't go exactly how you planned it, that's okay — only the people you told of your plans are going to know. Also, set some time aside for you and your new husband to just be away as the new Mr. & Mrs."

What was the vision for your wedding?:

I wanted something that would be timeless. I always knew I wanted black and white as my main colors and lots of flowers. I also had a special set of china given to me by one of my grandmas I used at the head table.

How did it go on the day-of?:

FAST! But, it went well. Of course it did not go exactly as planned, but it was still perfect. We had an outdoor wedding at a beautiful venue (Spiral Rock Events). It was supposed to rain, instead it was incredibly windy and quite chilly. The wind made for some cool photos though.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?:

Slow down. Take it all in. If it doesn’t go exactly how you planned it that’s okay. Only the people you told of your plans are going to know. Also, set some time aside for you and your new husband to just be away as the new Mr. & Mrs.
