(August 9, 2018 (the day before our Grand Opening!))
The first gown in this shoot was our Laney gown by LAmour and it is so stunning. This gown is a gorgeous sheath fit covered in the most stunning, bold lace from top to bottom. The deep v-neckline is supported by a high illusion neckline and fades into a stunning low back. A baby train adds even more drama and detail to this gown and we could not love it on Alex more.
The second gown is our Libby gown by LAmour. This mermaid style gown is fitted up top with gorgeous lace throughout. The tulle skirt is soft and romantic and the perfect balance to the sexiness the top half of the gown provides.
The third dress was our Alexa gown by Willowby. This gown is a gorgeous A-line fit with a stunning titanium-colored liner with soft layers of tulle over top of it. The skirt has gorgeous, bold dahlia motifs with sequin details scattered throughout for a little bit of sparkle. The bodice is a gorgeous deep-v plunge with a stunning double waistband made of delicate velvet ribbon. The ribbon ties into a dainty bow in the back and a baby train completes this boho, whimsical gown.
What was the vision for your styled shoot?
For this shoot I just envisioned being able to capture the essence of Cassie's shop! We shot with 3 different dresses to get a variety, and we shot with different spots of the shop.
How it went: The shoot was amazing! It was a very fun morning spent with all of the vendors getting to know each other during hair and make up, and through the whole time shooting! Cassie obviously had great dresses picked out and the cutest shop all set up, Katelyn did a wonderful job with hair and make up just as we had envisioned, Caroline presented us with the perfect bouquet for the shoot, and Haley did the best job modeling and going with the flow!
We first started with a more fitted dress with an attachable skirt. It was absolutely gorgeous and Haley wore it so well. The second dress was a strapless mermaid gown that showed another side of what Honest in Ivory has to offer! It had a gorgeously long tool train that complimented the lace on the top half of the dress. The last dress we shot with was my personal choice and was a fun and sweet flowy dress that was perfect for having Haley spin and twirl, as well as strut her stuff across the shop! Overall it was a very successful and fun-filled day!
