By our real bride, Kennedy:

What was the vision for your wedding?

My Pinterest board had a lot of jewel tones, greenery, and intimate candlelight vibes to match the low-key energy we wanted. In the end, the jewel tones turned into more tropical elements to fit our location. My vendors were all local at the recommendation of our officiant who we found on Google or found on The Knot. Each vendor was so sweet and accommodating. Planning a destination wedding is really challenging but things could not have turned out more perfect for us!

How did it go the day-of?

My wedding day was basically just the best day of vacation you could ever have. My now husband and I were not big on tradition and did see each other before our wedding and started the morning by having breakfast with our family and friends before heading our separate ways to get ready in the afternoon. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and as the afternoon turned into evening we were blessed with the most stunning sunset for photos. Fast forward to entering our reception dinner to twinkling lights, fresh flowers and candlelight as 20 of our closest friends and family sat chatting and laughing was the best feeling. Dinner, drinks, dessert, and a specially curated playlist we created completed the night and we felt so thankful that everything came together.

What is your #1 tip to future brides?

Savor every single moment of the day. By that I mean stop and look around at every single person periodically during the entire day. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the fast-moving energy on your wedding day but nothing else will show you how important and special the people surrounding you are and how they feel the same for you.
